We are following Government guidelines at our nursery and are working hard to keep our children and staff safe. Our children work in ‘bubbles’ and, whenever possible, they will be learning outside within their ‘bubble’. If you are looking for a nursery place, please contact us on 01476 577337.x
We accept 3/4 year-old children who are eligible for the new 30 or 24 hours of Government Funding. Contact us now to have a look round and book your place.x
We hope to give you a flavour of what the nursery is about, but you can only appreciate the ‘real deal’ by spending time in our nursery. Once you have looked through our website, we would encourage you to contact us and make an appointment to visit our nursery.
Take a tour to find out what we are like and whether we are the nursery for your child: Beacon tour
Your child will settle in more easily in our home-from-home environment, and our huge outdoor learning area gives your child first-hand contact with weather, seasons and the natural world. Your child has the freedom to explore, use their senses, be physically active and exuberant, and is able to learn how to take ‘risks’ within a safe environment.
Through our Key Person approach, your child is cared for as an individual, is known and valued, and has work developed around their interest.
“As a family we have lots of experience in working with children and want to bring that experience to Beacon Lane Day Nursery and make it the best in Grantham”
Your child learns best through play, and so we have a carefully balanced mix of adult led and child-led activities that make good use of your child’s interests.
You can leave your child at our nursery safe in the knowledge that you will get verbal feedback on your child’s day and that you have secure access online to your child’s individual e-learning journal.
You and your child can use free ‘taster sessions’ to help you both settle in to the surroundings.
Included in the cost of the childcare are meals during the day. These meals are ‘homemade’ and full of nutrition to give your child the best possible start.
In pre-school your child is prepared for transition to the local schools. In order to develop your child, literacy and numeracy are embedded into all that we do.
